Privacy Policy

Putted is an online tee-time booking service operated by EVC Studios. Golf courses use it to take bookings; golfers use it to reserve a tee time. This policy covers both.

When you book a tee time we collect your name, email address, and — if you choose to give one — your mobile number, along with the details of the booking itself: the course, date, time, number of players, holes, carts, and the rate you selected.

That is the whole list. We do not collect payment details, because Putted never takes a payment. Prices shown are estimates you settle with the pro shop.

To hold your tee time and to tell you about it: a confirmation, a reminder the day before, and a notice if the course moves or cancels your booking. Your name and booking details appear on the course’s tee sheet so the pro shop knows who is arriving.

The golf course you booked with. They see your booking on their tee sheet, including your contact details, so they can reach you about your tee time.

Service providers that run the product. Hosting, the database, our email sender, and our SMS carrier each process this data on our behalf in order to deliver the service. They may not use it for anything else.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party except the service provider that delivers the messages.

Giving a mobile number when you book is optional and is how you opt in to text messages about that booking. Reply STOP to any message to opt out. The text message policy describes exactly what we send.

Booking a tee time sets no cookies and involves no analytics or advertising trackers. Golf course staff who sign in to a dashboard get one cookie, which keeps them signed in and does nothing else.

Bookings are kept as the course’s record of play. If you want your details removed, email us and we will delete them, or ask the course you booked with.
