Text message policy

Putted is an online tee-time booking service operated by EVC Studios and used by golf courses. Each course books golfers through its own page on the platform, such as yourcourse.putted.app.

EVC Studios is the sender of record for every course on the platform and sends from a single toll-free number. Because a golfer’s relationship is with the course they booked, every message names that course at the start of the message.

Consent is given on the course’s booking page, at the moment the golfer reserves a tee time. The mobile number field is optional and no booking requires it — entering a number is the opt-in, and a golfer who leaves it blank is booked normally and receives email only.

Transactional messages about one specific tee time, and nothing else. There is no marketing, no promotional content, and no recurring campaign. Messages stop on their own once the tee time has passed — a typical booking receives two.

• The day before the tee time

  Reminder from Pine Ridge Golf Course: your tee time is Sat, Aug 8 at 9:20 AM for 4 players. About $210 at the pro shop. See you there!

• Only if the course moves the booking

  Pine Ridge Golf Course: your tee time moved from Sat, Aug 8 at 9:20 AM to Sat, Aug 8 at 11:00 AM. Confirmation PR4K2M.

• Only if the course cancels the booking

  Pine Ridge Golf Course: your tee time on Sat, Aug 8 at 9:20 AM has been cancelled. Questions? Call (555) 123-4567.

Putted does not charge for text messages. Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier.

Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will receive one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and nothing after that. Opting out does not cancel your tee time — the course still holds it, and you still receive email.

Reply HELP for help, or email privacy@putted.app. To change or cancel a tee time, call the course directly — the number is in every confirmation.

A golfer’s mobile number is used only to send the messages described above about their own booking. It is shared with the golf course they booked with, so the pro shop can reach them about their tee time.

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
