Tee sheet software for golf courses

Stop paying for your tee sheet with tee times

Putted is online tee sheet and booking software for golf courses at $149 a month, flat. Your booking page, on your own address, with your name on the confirmation email — no commission, no per-booking fee, no per-staff seat and no bartered tee times.

The arithmetic

GolfNow is not free. It is the most expensive software you run.

You hand over prime times. They resell them at a discount to golfers who would have paid you full rate, and you never see that money. Courses rated it a net promoter score of −26 and stayed anyway, because the alternative quoted $400 a month.

If you have said no to this before

You do not have to set it up, and you do not pay until it works

Most courses looking at this have looked before and stopped. Usually not because the software was wrong — because setting it up was another job nobody had time for.

  1. 1

    Send us your hours

Your seasons, your tee-time spacing and your rates, in whatever form you have them. A photograph of the rate board is fine.

  2. 2

    We build the tee sheet

You get a working booking page to look at, not an empty account with a setup wizard in it. Nothing is live until you say so.

  3. 3

    The first month is free

No card to start. Month to month after that, with no contract and nothing to cancel out of.

What the golfer sees

Book in four taps, cancel in one

No app, no account, no password. A golfer picks a day, picks a time, puts in a name, and is done — and every confirmation carries a cancel link that puts the spot straight back on your sheet.

That last part is worth more than it sounds. A no-show costs you the tee time twice: once because nobody played it, and once because you could not sell it to the group that called at nine.

A booking confirmation on a phone: Sunday at 8:50 AM for three players, a confirmation code, an estimated total of $174 and a note that nothing is charged now.

Scope

What Putted is not

Said up front it reads as focus. Found out later it reads as a gap.

  • A point of sale — keep the register you already have
  • Payment processing. Putted quotes a total; golfers pay at the counter
  • Inventory, food and beverage, or memberships
  • A marketplace. Your tee times are never listed anywhere but your own page

Leagues are the reason to open it every week

A member-guest happens twice a year. A Tuesday-night league happens every week, and today it runs on a clipboard and a spreadsheet somebody maintains at home — with the handicaps being the part nobody wants to do by hand.

Putted holds the tee times, keeps the roster, computes the handicaps and keeps the standings. Nothing at this price does that.

How league night works

Put your tee times online without giving any away

Free setup, a free first month and no card to start. Tell us your hours and we will build your tee sheet before you decide anything.

Questions

Common questions

How much does Putted cost?

Putted is $149 a month, flat, with everything included. There are no tiers, no per-staff seats, no per-booking fees and no commission. Twelve months prepaid is $1,490, and you can pause the months your course is closed.

Do golfers need to download an app?

No. Golfers pick a day and a time on your booking page, enter a name and a phone number, and they are done. There is no app, no account and no password — and cancelling is a link in their own confirmation email.

Does Putted replace our point of sale?

No, and it is not meant to. Putted is a tee sheet. It quotes a total so a golfer knows what to expect and they pay at the counter exactly as they do now. Keep whatever register you already have.

Can we still take bookings over the phone?

Yes, and they land on the same tee sheet. A call-in typed in by the pro shop gets the same confirmation code, the same confirmation email and the same reminder as a booking made online. You can also hold spots back per tee time that the website is not allowed to sell.

How long does it take to get set up?

An afternoon, and we do the setting up. Send us your seasons, your hours and your rates and you get a working booking page rather than an empty account. The first month is free and there is no card to start.

Do we have to replace our website?

No. One line of embed code puts the booking flow inside the website you already have. If your site is old enough that it fights golfers on a phone we will build you a new one for a few hundred dollars — but that is an offer, not a requirement.
