What does golf tee sheet software cost?

Published prices for golf tee sheet and course management software run from about $99 to over $500 a month, with most vendors quoting rather than publishing and most bundling the tee sheet with a point-of-sale system you may not need.

The short version

  • The market clears roughly $150–$500 a month for what is, at its core, a tee sheet.
  • Five of the seven vendors we looked at do not publish a price at all.
  • Per-module and per-seat pricing are the two ways a quoted price grows after you sign.
  • The "free" option is paid for in tee times, and it is the most expensive one on this page.
What the category charges, a month
  • foreUP$400–$800 a month

Modules at $70–$130 each; real bills land at $400–$800. POS-anchored.

  • Lightspeed Golf$325 a month

    From. Quote-based.

  • Teesnap$300 a month

About $60 per user per month — five staff logins.

  • Club Caddie$299 a month

    From. Quote-based.

  • Easy Tee Golf$200 a month

    Flat, pausable in the off-season.

  • TeeQuest$150–$400 a month

    Basic level, rising past $400.

  • Putted$149 a month

Flat, published, everything included. No modules, no seats, no contract.

  • GolfNow$0 cash

No invoice and no cheque. Paid for in tee times instead — worked out in dollars on the GolfNow page.

Published or vendor-quoted figures gathered in August 2026, not negotiated ones. A solid bar is the figure a vendor states; the tint extends it to the top of a quoted range. Every figure and its source is listed in full below.

What each vendor charges

These are published or vendor-quoted figures, not negotiated ones, and each one names where we read it — most of these vendors do not publish a price, so the figure comes from a software directory rather than from them. Every source and the date we checked it is listed at the foot of this page. Where a vendor does not publish, we have said so rather than guessed.

  • Easy Tee Golf — $200 a month flat, pausable in the off-season, no transaction fees. Tee sheet and booking only.
  • foreUP — modules at $70–$130 each; Software Advice reports real bills of $400–$800 a month. POS-anchored.
  • Teesnap — from about $60 per user per month per GetApp, so five staff logins is roughly $300.
  • TeeQuest — around $150 a month at the basic level, rising past $400, per Capterra.
  • Club Caddie — from $299 a month, quote-based, per Capterra.
  • Lightspeed Golf — from $325 a month, quote-based, per Capterra.
  • GolfNow — "$0", paid in bartered tee times rather than cash.
  • Putted — $149 a month flat, published, everything included.

Why almost nobody publishes a price

A quote-based price is not a secret because the number is embarrassing. It is quote-based because the number depends on how many modules you take, how many staff log in, how many rounds you do and how hard you negotiate. That is a legitimate way to sell complicated software, and it also means two courses down the road from each other are paying very different amounts for nearly the same thing.

The practical effect for a small course is that you cannot budget until you have sat through a demo, and you cannot compare two vendors without sitting through two.

The two ways a price grows after you sign

Per-module pricing starts low and climbs as you discover the thing you assumed was included is its own line. Per-seat pricing starts low and climbs every time you hire, which for a seasonal operation means the bill peaks exactly when the season does.

Neither is dishonest. Both are worth pricing out at the size you will actually be in July, not the size you are in the demo.

What you should be comparing

Ask three questions of any quote. What is the total in July with every person who needs a login and every module you actually use? What happens to the bill in the months you are closed? And what does it cost to leave — is there a contract, and do you own anything at the end of it?

For reference, Putted is $149 a month with no modules, no seats and no contract; $1,490 if you prepay a year; and nothing in the months you choose to pause.
